Developer Fees
Overview
Government Code Section 65995 and California Education Code Section 17620 allow school districts to levy fees on residential and/or commercial/industrial projects within a school district's boundaries. The State Allocation Board (SAB) sets the per-square-foot Level 1 school impact fees every two years.
Hours and Location
The Fiscal Services Department, located at 14901 S. Inglewood Avenue (behind Lawndale High School), is open for collections of Developer Fees Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, except when closed on District holidays.

Form of Payment
Payment for Developer Fees may be made by cashier's check or money order.

- Commercial/Industrial Development $0.196 / Sq. Ft. ($0.56 x 35%)

- Commercial/Industrial Development $0.547 / Sq. Ft.
