Office of the Superintendent
As the Superintendent of Centinela Valley Union High School District, my mission is to ensure that every student has an opportunity to experience success by providing high-quality instruction, effective and caring faculty and staff, safe schools, and state-of-the-art technology and support. I encourage students, parents, faculty, staff, and community members to contact me with any questions and concerns, and I'm always open to suggestions for how to improve.
Prior to becoming Superintendent, I held a variety of positions in K-12 education such as Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, Director of Student Services and Alternative Education, High School Principal, Associate Principal, Coordinator of Assessments and Educational Technology, Science Instructional Coach, Science Department Head, and Science Teacher. At the university level, I've served as a Doctoral Research Coordinator, Doctoral Research Committee Member, Associate Professor, and Adjunct Assistant Professor. Prior to entering education, I could be found working behind the scenes in the theatre and film industry, and in what now seems like another lifetime, I was in the US Army.
