Measure SP
What is Measure SP?
Measure SP is a local bond measure that will fund new and modernized athletic facilities and fields at Hawthorne, Lawndale and Leuzinger High Schools. These facilities will replace all of the fields, thus completing the construction efforts at the three schools, and will provide opportunities for joint use with local communities.
What are Measure SP's priorities?

- Completely modernized football stadium, including new artificial turf and track, seating, state of the art LED lighting, restrooms, and other auxiliary facilities
- Modernized artificial turf baseball and softball fields, including new LED lighting, stands, and auxiliary facilities.
- Modernized and reconfigured artificial turf soccer/lacrosse/practice field

What will Measure SP cost?
Measure SP is a $125 million local education bond. If enacted, it would cost homeowners approximately $3.00 per month per $100,000 of assessed valuation.
Does Measure SP have fiscal oversight?
Measure SP requires independent financial audits and the establishment of a citizens' oversight committee as prescribed by state law. Measure SP funds cannot be spent on administrator salaries or pensions. All funds must be spent for construction at our local schools.
