Welcome to the Common Core!
PREPARING STUDENTS FOR COLLEGE & CAREER
A primary goal of the Common Core State Standards is to graduate life-long learners with the skills and knowledge necessary to qualify for and succeed in their chosen positions within the 21st century global economy
- The new standards are designed to be relevant in the real world, reflecting the knowledge and skills students need for success in both post-secondary education and job training.
- Students graduating with the skills and knowledge needed in today’s job market will strengthen our communities.
