Molly Nellman is the Director of Educational Technology and Assessment for Centinela Valley Union High School District. She received her bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Spanish from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2003 and went on to UCLA to earn her secondary teaching credential and master's degree in education in 2008.

Molly has served the Centinela Valley Union High School District since 2007, first as a Life Science Teacher at Lawndale High School. During her teaching experience, Molly also served as the founding Coordinator of the Biomedical Careers Academy and Technology Trainer for the school. In 2012, Molly became the district Educational Technology Specialist and in that role she began forming what would become our expansive Digital Learning Initiative program which includes 1:1 Chromebooks for all students, a robust full implementation of Canvas as a learning management system, a full complement of ancillary educational technology programs and resources for the classroom as well as a comprehensive teacher support program involving three Educational Technology Teachers on Special Assignment and teams of teachers at each school site who provide EdTech workshops and support for the staff.

As Molly moved into district administration and took on the additional role of coordinating testing for the district, she guided our schools through the transition from paper-based STAR and CELDT testing into today's computer-based CAASPP and ELPAC testing. Additionally she coordinates the Physical Fitness testing and College Board testing to include PSAT and AP Exams.

In 2021, Molly was awarded the honor of Manager of the Year for her leadership during the pandemic school closures of 2019-20 and 2020-21.
