Centinela Valley Union High School District offers a variety of benefit options to each eligible employee, retiree and their dependents. This includes medical, dental, vision, basic life, retirement plans, COBRA continuation coverage, and various voluntary benefit programs. This information will assist you while you are making your decisions regarding your health and welfare coverage. Effective January 1, 2025, the District's contribution for benefits is $22,500. This can be used towards medical, dental, and vision. Life, Short-term Disability and Long-term Disability Insurance is provided by the District at no cost to the employee.
2025 Open Enrollment
Open Enrollment starts September 16 and ends on October 11, 2024. Changes made during Open Enrollment will take effect January 1, 2024. During Open Enrollment, you can:
- Change your CalPERS health plan
- Add eligible dependents
- Remove dependents
- Cancel your existing CalPERS health coverage
- Enroll in a CalPERS health plan if you don’t currently have CalPERS health coverage

Effective October 1, 2023, and ending on September 30, 2025, the District will reimburse Management, Confidential, CVSTA & CSEA unit members in active status up to $50 dollars per month for physical fitness related membership/subscription fees and $50 per year for membership/subscription fees for fitness or nutrition apps.
